Sign up for AutoPay when you sign in or register your account through My Account. Once enrolled in AutoPay, your payments will be conveniently deducted from your bank account on the payment due date. No need to worry about writing a check, missing a payment or incurring late payment fees.

    We accept cash, checks, money orders and cashier's checks in our Walk-In Customer Service Centers. At KU's One Quality Street location and LG&E's Walk-In Customer Service Center, customers can pay with electronic checking, debit/ATM card, Visa, Mastercard or Discover credit card or PayPal account when they use the computer kiosk to sign in or register their LG&E or KU account.

    Payments made in person are posted to your account immediately.
    Your Bank Website

    LG&E and KU accept payments made on customers' bank websites; however, bank website payments typically take three to five business days for the funds to transfer and for the payment to post to the customer's LG&E or KU account.

    Please consider a more timely payment option if you are making your payment on or just before your payment due date.

    Payment Arrangements

    If you have received a disconnect notice (brown bill) and want to extend your payment due date, you can contact us for a payment arrangement.

    Our new billing and payment schedule, effective Jan. 1, 2013, means you now have at least 22 days from the date your LG&E or KU bill is issued to make your payment.

    Late payment fees will be added only if full payment is not received by the payment due date.
