Andrea Schroeder has more than 20 years of experience in the energy industry, working in such areas as finance, rates and regulatory, civic affairs and team management. She has been with LG&E and KU for 14 years and joined the Key Accounts team in February 2022. Schroeder has extensive experience collaborating and problem solving with local governments and regulatory agencies. Prior to coming to LG&E and KU, she worked for the Kentucky Public Service Commission in financial analysis and as executive advisor to the KPSC Chairman.

Schroeder serves as key account manager to such customers as Louisville Metro Government, Churchill Downs, TARC, Brown-Forman, Haier-GE Appliance Park, Centre College, Kentucky Center for the Arts, and numerous chemical companies in the region.

Schroeder earned a Bachelors degree in accounting from Kentucky State University and was a member of the Leadership Lexington class of 2020-2021. She is a native of Bardstown, Kentucky and currently resides in Louisville with her husband, Jeff. They have four children and four grandchildren.
