Dorothy (Dot) O'Brien was named to her current position in 2007 after serving as the company's Deputy General Counsel. In her current position, O'Brien oversees the company's Corporate Legal and Environmental Affairs departments.
O'Brien obtained a bachelor's degree from Bellarmine University and was an English Speaking Union Scholar to the College of Exeter, Oxford University, where she did post-graduate work in English. She then returned to Louisville and graduated from the Brandeis School of Law, earning a Juris Doctorate.
O'Brien currently serves on the Board of the Louisville Bar Foundation as well as the Bellarmine University Board of Overseers. In addition, she has served on the Walden Theater Board of Directors, been an active supporter of the nationally ranked Bellarmine University mock-trial team, and raised funds for Cystic Fibrosis and Muscular Dystrophy research and for the Center for Women and Families.
O'Brien is married to lawyer, Bill O'Brien and they have three children.
