Step 1 – Purchase your appliance or product and sign up.
Before you buy, we recommend first checking to make sure the product you plan to purchase qualifies for our program. To view eligibility information, select a rebate category. After a purchase has been made, customers may start the application process by logging into My Account or by calling 800-356-5467.
Step 2 – An application is mailed to you.
After you sign up, we will mail an application to your home. This allows us to obtain your signature and gives you an easy way to return the required documentation to us using a pre-addressed, postage-paid envelope.
Step 3 – Complete and submit documentation.
After you’ve completed and signed the application, please submit it with all of the required documentation by mail. This includes:
- legible receipt (original or copy) which lists the purchase date;
- serial number;
- model number; and
- complete purchase information, including the product purchase price minus labor, delivery and installation.
Other documents may be required for certain product categories. Select a rebate category for specific details on eligibility requirements.
Step 4 – Receive a rebate check or pre-paid Visa card.
Rebate applications that meet all the necessary requirements will be approved by LG&E and KU. Site verification of the installed product may be required for rebate to be issued. Once a rebate application is approved, your choice of rebate check or pre-paid Visa card will be mailed within six to eight weeks.
