In the fall of 2005 I began working on my MBA. The company paid for my entire tuition, which was a great incentive to further my education. In addition to my Master's degree, the company and my managers have continually encouraged me to seek out training which I felt would enhance my knowledge base and further my career.
For Kathi Rohrer, understanding the utility industry began at an early age. Her father worked for several utilities as she was growing up. So it only seemed fitting that Kathi apply for a college internship in the industry. She interned at a power plant and soon after was hired full-time to work in the Generation Planning Department. She is currently manager of IT Products.
Kathi has given back to the community through many company-sponsored events, including Project Warm and Operation Brightside. In addition, she volunteers with Junior Achievement and joins her co-workers on a regular basis to serve lunch at Wayside Christian Mission.
