Chuck Schram

Vice President, Energy Supply & Analysis, LG&E and KU

Chuck Schram is Vice President, Energy Supply and Analysis and has more than 29 years of experience at LG&E and KU. He was named to his current position in April 2025. Chuck is responsible for long-term sales forecasting, generation resource planning, energy market analysis, coal and gas procurement for the generation fleet, generation dispatch, wholesale electricity transactions and coal combustion residual marketing.

Prior to his current position, Chuck served as director of Power Supply and director of Energy Planning, Analysis and Forecasting. In addition to previous engineering management roles in Distribution Planning and Transmission, he also held management positions in Strategic Planning and Business Development.

Schram earned a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering and a Master of Business Administration from the University of Louisville. He also completed leadership development programs at the London Business School and the Center for Creative Leadership.

Chuck is a 2020 Bingham Fellows graduate and currently serves as board chair of the Housing Partnership, a non-profit organization dedicated to affordable housing development.
