Joshua Scott is Manager, Business Services at LG&E and KU, a position he has held since 2025. With 12 years of experience at the company, Scott brings a broad, enterprise‑level perspective that bridges operational excellence, customer advocacy, and strategic leadership.

In his current role, Scott leads the Key Account Manager and Business Account Manager teams, ensuring consistent, high‑quality engagement with LG&E and KU’s commercial and industrial customers. He is responsible for setting strategy and direction across account management, regulatory and tariff guidance, complex service coordination, issue resolution, billing and system navigation, and cross‑functional alignment. Under his leadership, teams support a diverse range of industries including utilities, transportation, manufacturing, food and beverage, education, and health services.

Scott’s leadership approach is grounded in deep operational knowledge. He has an extensive background in Transmission Operations, providing him with firsthand understanding of system reliability, grid planning, and service delivery—insight that strengthens decision‑making and customer outcomes. He also brings a risk‑aware lens from a short tenure in Internal Audit, further enhancing governance, transparency, and operational discipline in his work with customers and internal partners.

Scott holds a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from Rose‑Hulman Institute of Technology and a Master of Business Administration from Bellarmine University, and is a member of Beta Gamma Sigma. He previously served on the board of the Kentucky Association of Manufacturers.

He resides in Oldham County with his wife, Mecha, and their three children. Outside of work, he enjoys beekeeping.
