Katie Erdmann joined LG&E and KU in 2015, first as a mechanical engineer in predictive maintenance in Power Generation, before transitioning to key account management. She earned her Bachelor’s of Science degree in mechanical engineering from Purdue University. Prior to joining LG&E and KU, Erdmann worked as a mechanical engineer for a wind turbine OEM and as a design engineer for a gearbox manufacturing company.

Erdmann’s key account customers include Louisville Water Company, JCPS, Humana, as well as other industrial and commercial customers in Kentucky and several national headquarter accounts. Erdmann provides services ranging from rate and billing support, energy efficiency and sustainability program implementation, to technical issues for industrial customers with sensitive equipment and power-quality needs.

Erdmann resides in southern Indiana with her husband and two sons. Her hobbies include gardening and yoga.
