Kelli Mattingly, P.E.

Kerr-Greulich Engineers Inc.

Kelli Mattingly has been with Kerr-Greulich Engineers in Louisville, Kentucky, for nearly seven years. As the lead mechanical engineer for the Education Team, Kelli leads the Jefferson County Public Schools central plant replacement projects for Kerr-Greulich and the mechanical design and construction administration for many other projects. Among those are K-12 schools, hotels, office buildings, apartment complexes, higher education facilities, historic buildings and anything else that comes her way. Kelli has a passion for designing energy efficient systems to solve complex HVAC needs and is excited for the opportunity to share how heat pump chillers can reduce energy usage and the carbon footprint, while also providing a creative alternative to typical hydronic systems.

Outside of work, Kelli loves to take on the latest home-improvement project with her husband, volunteer as a youth advisor at her church and play endless rounds of fetch with her two tiny fur babies. Kelli graduated from the University of Louisville Speed School of Engineering in 2017 with a bachelor’s degree and 2018 with a master’s degree ─ both in mechanical engineering. Kelli received her Professional Engineer (P.E.) license in Kentucky in 2023 and was recently named one of Consulting-Specifying Engineer Magazine’s 40 Under Forty for 2025.
