Lawrence Prince has been with LG&E and KU since 1986 and has more than 30 years of experience in the gas and electric industry. His background includes engineering, product management, customer service and account management with a focus on industrial accounts.

In current his role, Prince provides services ranging from rate and billing support and energy efficiency and economic program implementation, to addressing technical issues for industrial customers with sensitive equipment and power-quality needs. Some of his customers include Ford, UPS, Dart Container, Kosmos Cement, Berry Plastics, LSC Communications, Metalsa and the Louisville Regional Airport Authority.

Prince earned a master’s degree in electrical engineering from the University of Louisville and an MBA from Bellarmine University. He is a Certified Energy Manager and Certified Energy Auditor.

He and his wife of 25 years, Shannon, reside in Louisville and have three college-age children. In his spare time, Prince enjoys cycling and swimming.
