LG&E Center ‘goes blue’ to support the Kentucky Wildcats

Regardless of where your loyalties lie, the University of Kentucky Wildcats have generated much excitement and earned national attention for their undefeated season, as the men’s basketball team heads to the Final Four tournament in Indianapolis this weekend.

The LG&E Center in downtown Louisville also is getting in on the action. The night of April 3, the building’s rooftop lights will change to blue and will remain that color through Monday evening. (The building similarly changed to red when the Louisville Cardinals advanced to the Final Four in 2013.)

The Wildcats play the Wisconsin Badgers on Saturday evening in the semi-finals, with the winner advancing to the NCAA championship game on Monday against either the Michigan State Spartans or the Duke Blue Devils.
