Join us in saluting area schools and students

Initiatives that promote positive learning opportunities and experiences for students are extremely important to the overall education of our children. That’s why LG&E is a proud sponsor of “Assignment: Education,” a special segment that airs each week on WAVE 3 News.

The two-minute videos highlight some of the top education stories from around the area and provide a closer look at some special programs that are helping students reach their full potential.

From fun, educational trips outside the classroom to classes focusing on specific careers (aviation, for example) to helping students whose first language is not English, “Assignment: Education” gives a glimpse into some of the efforts that are necessary to prepare students for the future.

Each week’s new video airs multiple times:
