In late 2022, the company announced plans to close all 26 business offices. The closings were prompted after careful evaluation of industry trends and evolving customer needs. Many offices throughout our service territory have closed since then. The closure schedule for the remaining offices is below:
- Greenville and Middlesboro offices (KU) – May 31
- Lexington office (KU) – June 14
- Louisville Broadway office (LG&E) – June 14
Customers have a variety of convenient options and self-serve tools to make payments, set up payment arrangements, request reconnection and perform other business transactions.
- Mobile app: Download our free mobile app to easily view your account details, report an outage, conveniently pay your bill and more. Download the latest version of our app here, or search “LG&E KU ODP” in the App Store or Google Play.
- Online: Visit My Account for 24-hour access to account information and to make payments, view your bills, register for programs and more.
- Mail: Mail your payment by check or money order, include your account number on your payment and allow 5–7 business days for the payment to post to your account.
- In-person cash payments: We’ve partnered with thousands of retail locations (which include CVS®, Dollar General®, Kroger®, WalgreensTM and Walmart®) to accept cash payments on our behalf. To see the complete retailer list and find your nearest location, click here.
- Phone: Use our automated phone system 24/7 to make a payment, check your account balance and due date, request a payment arrangement and more.
