If service is interrupted, we’re just a text away

One of the easiest ways to let us know if you experience a power outage is to simply send us a text. Want to be prepared in the event of an outage? Make sure your account is up to date with your mobile number. 

  • Sign in to your online account. (If you don’t have one, go to my.lge-ku.com to quickly create an   account. Be sure to have a copy of your bill.) 
  • Enter or update your mobile number in your account. 
  • If you lose power, text OUTAGE to 454358 (4LGEKU). 

We’ll respond with a text to confirm your location. After you receive our text, you can get updates on the progress we’re making by texting STATUS. When your power is restored, we’ll send a final text to confirm that. 

If you prefer, you can phone us to report an outage. 

You can get near-real-time information during a service interruption by checking out our outage map at stormcenter.lge-ku.com. It provides very detailed information within the service area, such as how many customers are without power and, when available, an estimated time of restoration. The outage map can also be downloaded to your mobile device from the App Store or Google Play.
