At night it’s right to have a light that’s bright

There’s an old saying that goes “You don’t know what you got till it’s gone.” You could put streetlights in that category. You might not notice them … until they stop working. And that’s where we could use a little help from you. We regularly inspect our streetlights, but if you see a streetlight that is out or is damaged, please let us know as soon as you can. Go to lge-ku.com/outages/report/streetlight to report the situation, and we’ll have a crew on the job in just a few days.

To help our technicians more easily find the right streetlight, include an address, pole number and/or a landmark when making your report. Our crews work on streetlights during the day, so that information is very helpful.

Please note some streetlights are owned and maintained by local governments or homeowners’ associations. In addition, if the streetlight is located along a highway, you should report it to your state department of transportation. Finally, a nonworking light on a business property should be reported to the business.
