Employees raise nearly $2 million for the communities we serve

Every year we show our communities support and appreciation in many ways. One example is the company’s yearly employee giving campaign, the Power of One. Thousands of current and former LG&E, KU and ODP employees generously open their wallets to contribute. In 2024, employee contributions – with LG&E and KU Foundation support – totaled nearly $2 million.

Since 2005, more than $30 million has been raised through payroll deductions, event fundraisers, retiree donations and support from IBEW Local 2100 and the LG&E and KU Foundation, providing much-needed assistance to dozens of nonprofit organizations throughout the company’s service territories in Kentucky and Virginia.
