Charging Station Options 

  • Charging stations can be designated for public or private use, and hosts will determine the charging station locations on their property. 
  • Stations may be located on the customer side or utility side of the electric meter, and costs are determined based on the location of the stations in relation to the electric meter.  
  • Station hosts pay for installation costs of charging station, including wiring, conduit, protective bollards, etc.
  • Estimated costs per station will range from $1,200-5,000.
  • Station hosts can determine drivers' hourly cost to use the station. All fees, if any, will be remitted in full to the station host.

Installed on the customer side of the electric meter.

  • Installation costs:  host-supplied
  • Monthly cost  for single charger: $132
  • Monthly cost for dual charger: $205.15
  • Charging fee to drivers: paid to host

LG&E EVSE

Installed on the utility side of the electric meter.

  • Installation costs: host-supplied
  • Monthly cost  for single charger: $180.50
  • Monthly cost for dual charger: $302.13
  • Charging fee to drivers: paid to host  

KU EVSE-R

Installed on the customer side of the electric meter.
