Lending a helping hand

LG&E and KU participates in four different mutual assistance groups in which utilities across multiple regions and 20 states offer each other resources and support following natural disasters and other emergencies. Members of each group send technicians to assist in restoration efforts where needed.

Last year, our crews helped after the Colorado wildfires, the flooding in Eastern Kentucky and Hurricane Ian in Florida.
