A meter that’s easy to get to helps ensure an accurate bill

We strive to ensure the bill you receive from us each month is accurate. One of the most important items in that effort is reading your meter to capture the amount of energy you used for the month. For our technicians to do that, we need your help in making sure your meter is easily accessible. There should be a minimum of six feet of clearance in front of the meter and two feet of clearance on either side. In addition, if your meter sits behind a locked gate or you have a pet in the area, please be sure our technician can get to your meter when it is scheduled to be read. You can find your next meter reading date range on the top-right portion of your bill and find the full schedule when you log in to My Account (my.lge-ku.com).

It’s required that your meter be accessible 8 a.m.–5 p.m. Monday through Friday, though we prefer to have 24-hour access. Besides helping to make sure you get an accurate bill, it’s very important to have access to your meter to perform maintenance or repairs, respond to an emergency or correct any safety hazards.
