Plan easier with our Budget Payment Plan

Your energy bill doesn't need to be unpredictable. Our Budget Payment Plan gives you a customized monthly payment amount based on an average of the previous 12 months of bills at your current address.

Here’s how it works: Once you sign up, we estimate your energy usage for the next 12 months based on current energy costs and your actual energy usage from the previous 12 months. The average of that estimated total determines your monthly payment. Every four months, we’ll then compare your actual usage to the estimate. If an adjustment is required, we’ll make it at that time and note it on your bill.

At the end of the 12-month period, you’ll receive a credit toward future bills if you have used less energy than estimated. If you use more energy than anticipated, you’ll owe the difference on that month’s bill.

Signing up for the Budget Payment Plan can be done at any time, but September is always a good time to start, as it’s typically a low-energy-usage month. Other optimal sign-up months are May, June and October.
