Employees strengthening our communities

Area nonprofits are receiving nearly $1.5 million through support from employees and retirees of LG&E, KU and ODP, the LG&E and KU Foundation and IBEW Local 2100. The funds were raised through the utilities’ annual employee-led charitable giving campaign, the Power of One, which has now contributed more than $35 million since 2005.

Financial contributions from the 2025 campaign are being allocated to more than 26 nonprofit organizations overseeing critical community programs and services to meet individuals’ basic needs, support education and the arts, and provide access to health care services. They represent employee communities all across Kentucky, as well as parts of Virginia and Indiana.
