Ensuring your electric service works as it should each month keeps our hard-working team busy. And sometimes that work brings our employees or contractors right to your home to perform a necessary service.

If someone from LG&E, KU or ODP visits your home, via appointment or not, always first ask for an identification card. Our company’s authentic ID cards feature the employee’s photo and full name, as well as a company logo. The vehicle in which they arrived will also feature our logo.

Still not sure they are who they say they are?

An additional step you can take to ID the visitor is to note the person’s name and then politely ask them to wait outside. Next, simply call us at 800-981-0600, and we’ll help confirm the person is in fact our representative.

And, as always, please remember our employees visiting your home will never ask for personal information or any kind of payment. This includes credit or debit card numbers.
