If you have an old refrigerator or freezer chugging away and wasting energy, we recommend removing and replacing it with a new ENERGY STAR® certified model. While LG&E and KU’s Fridge and Freezer Recycling program ended in 2018, we recommend checking with your local recycling center to see what appliances can be properly recycled in your area.
