Thomas Hoy joined LG&E and KU in May 2026 as a Key Account Manager. He brings more than 15 years of experience in sales, customer service, business operations and leadership, including eight years in management. Throughout his career, Hoy has focused on building strong customer relationships, leading high-performing teams and helping customers identify solutions that support their business needs.

In his role with LG&E and KU, Hoy provides account management and energy solutions support for key commercial and industrial customers throughout Central Kentucky. He works closely with customers to understand their operations and energy needs, offering guidance on energy usage and demand, reliability, energy efficiency, billing rate questions, and future growth and expansion.

Hoy earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a focus in economics from The Ohio State University. He also earned a Master of Business Administration from the University of Cincinnati and completed a graduate certificate in finance.

A native of Ohio, Hoy now calls Central Kentucky home, where he lives with his wife, Sara, and their two children. Outside of work, he enjoys spending time with his family, golfing, traveling and following Ohio State athletics.
