Project details

As part of LG&E’s long-term investment projects, work along the US 42 and I-264 interchange will support a rapidly growing area of Jefferson County. A new electric substation and supporting infrastructure will further reinforce our system to ensure we continue providing customers the safe, reliable power they depend on for years to come.

Transmission and Electric Distribution are also performing some infrastructure modifications in this area in preparation for the upcoming KYTC I-264/US 42 Interchange Improvement Project. As part of these modifications, LG&E Gas will be relocating a section of gas mains along US 42.
