Earth Month is a celebration of our planet and the need to protect it

The month of April is designated as Earth Month, culminating with Earth Day, on April 22. This year marks the 50th anniversary of Earth Day, and this year’s theme is Climate Action. Millions of people around the globe will take part in local events and activities to demonstrate the importance of our environment and the need to protect it for future generations.

From conservation education to community-wide cleanup programs, attention will be drawn to efforts to take action to improve the environment. Get more information at earthday.org.
