• Inspecting and replacing older utility poles with new poles.
• Upgrading our transmission lines; these are the lines that carry electricity from our power plants to the customers we serve.
• Making sure trees, plants and other vegetation are kept appropriately trimmed so they do not interfere with overhead electric distribution or transmission lines.

In addition, when a power outage does occur, our investment in automated restoration equipment means in many cases we can detect the outage and restore power faster than ever before.
