How we ensure the safety of your account

We never stop working to make sure your account is protected and secure. For example, anytime we are contacted about an account, we will be certain the person contacting us is the responsible party for the account or is someone who has been given authorization to receive information about the account. That’s why we ask for personal identifiers such as a Social Security number, an account number, a home address and/or a phone number. NO information is shared about an account until we have verified the person’s identity.

Also, we have a couple of ways you can easily check on your account and the status of your bill 24/7.

  • Simply sign in to your online account via our mobile app. (Download the app or search “LG&E KU ODP” in app stores.) If you don’t have an online account, go to My Account to quickly create one.
  • Use our automated phone system. Just call and press 1-2-1.
